Okay, today we’re diving into something that might sound a little out there at first, but has completely changed my life and my clients’ lives in ways I still can’t wrap my head around.

It’s called Emotion Code.

We’re talking about releasing the emotional weight you’ve been carrying for years—the stuff that keeps you stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, exhausted, or repeating the same frustrating patterns over and over. And here’s the wild part: you don’t have to talk through it, relive your trauma, or even fully know what’s wrong.

Your body already knows. Emotion Code just helps us listen.

So… What Is Emotion Code?

I get this question all the time. Usually it’s phrased more politely than, “What the fuck is Emotion Code?” but let’s be honest, that’s what people are really thinking.

The Emotion Code is a method to release trapped emotional energy from the body using energy testing (or muscle testing) and intention. It was created by Dr. Bradley Nelson, a chiropractor, who wrote a whole book on the process. That’s how I learned—read the book, practiced, and paired it with my own Reiki training and intuition.

I approach it from a Reiki and energetic perspective, which is part of why I think my sessions are so effective. I’ve seen it help everything from chronic physical pain to deep emotional blocks that clients didn’t even realize they had.

Here’s the basic idea: unresolved emotions can get stuck in the body and create blocks—mentally, emotionally, and physically. You might not consciously know they’re there, but your body does. When we identify and release them, things shift in ways that can feel instant and almost magical.

How a Session Works

Most of my sessions are virtual, and they’re quick—just 15 minutes. You book a time, fill out a form telling me what’s been going on, and send me a photo or a link to your Instagram so I can connect with your energy.

During the session, I drop into your energy and use my pendulum to ask yes/no questions. The goal is to identify trapped emotions connected to whatever you’re dealing with—anxiety, physical pain, a specific situation, or just that stuck feeling you can’t shake.

I work through a chart of emotions, narrowing it down until we name the exact one that’s trapped. Once it’s identified, I use intention (and sometimes a magnetic hematite crystal) to release it from your body’s energy field.

Afterward, I send you detailed notes on what came up and what was released. Clients are often surprised by how specific and accurate the results are—even if they didn’t consciously “feel” those emotions before.

Real-Life Stories That Still Blow My Mind

Over the years, I’ve worked with clients, kids, and even animals—and the results never stop surprising me.

Like the two cats who had been inseparable their whole lives until they suddenly started fighting. Their owners were desperate and considering rehoming one of them. I did an Emotion Code session for both cats, releasing emotions like rejection and abandonment, and within days they were curled up in a laundry basket together like nothing had happened.

Or the pregnant clients who came to me in their third trimester feeling unprepared, overwhelmed, and anxious about birth. After a session, they told me they felt calm, grounded, and ready—and a few even went into labor within a day or two.

Then there was my sister-in-law, a nurse with chronic shoulder pain that wouldn’t go away no matter what she tried. One session revealed trapped abandonment from her husband being away in the military. As soon as it was released, the pain was gone.

I’ve seen Emotion Code help kids with sleep troubles, potty training resistance, and recurring tantrums. I’ve helped people move through heartbreak, business blocks, and long-standing feelings of self-doubt. I’ve watched animals come out of depression after losing a companion.

It’s not magic—it’s simply releasing what’s been stuck so your body and energy can function the way they’re meant to.

Why It Matters

You probably won’t know exactly what trapped emotions you have. But I can tell you that everyone has them. They can show up as physical pain, repeating life patterns, unexplained anxiety, burnout, insomnia, or that low-level sense that something is “off.”

When we clear them, we create space for healing, opportunity, and flow. I’ve seen clients feel lighter, calmer, and more themselves after just one session. And sometimes, big external shifts follow almost immediately—a job offer, a relationship breakthrough, a sudden burst of creative energy.
